LoRaWAN is a Long Range Wide Area Network which connects up to 10,000 smart things within a radius of 10 km. Sure, the advent of LoRaWAN is a technological revolution!

In November this year, iB Hubs and CyberEye, together, brought The Things Conference to India for the first time. This conference is dedicated to IoT and LoRaWAN. The conference has been a grand success and witnessed 500+ attendees, 50+ esteemed speakers and tech experts, 40+ workshops, and 50+ media houses, making a mark globally.

A glimpse of The Things Conference India 2018!

This 2-day long global conference, dedicated to LoRaWAN and IoT, brought technology leaders, governments, academia, research organisations and industrialists from all across the world onto a single platform to discuss and explore the potential of LoRaWAN in India.

The Things Conference India — A Beginning Step for a Bright LoRaWAN™& IoT Culture in India

This biggest LoRaWAN conference in India stood as a beginning step for strengthening the LoRaWAN culture in India.

Completely focused on learning and spreading knowledge on LoRaWAN and its incredible applications in IoT, the conference kept the attendees busy and learning all the time with an amazing lineup of talks, hands-on workshops, intriguing panel discussions and exhibits from across the world.

The conference kick-started with best wishes and congratulations from Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Law and Justice, Govt. of India. Following which, began the 2 days of immense learnings in the advanced technologies.

Insightful Talks and Panel Discussions: Learning from the Best in the World

Eminent speakers from across the globe shared their experiences and knowledge on LoRaWAN with the attendees.

50+ tech-experts who are playing prominent roles in IoT and LoRaWAN domains shared their experiences and insights on the technology and inspired the attendees to build Smart Things.

Thought leaders in various domains came together and explored the potential of LoRaWAN in India during panel discussions!

All the attendees were equipped with knowledge on LoRaWAN’s potential and its applications, how LoRaWAN empowers IoT, how to deploy LoRaWAN, what sets this technology apart from the rest of the technologies, how smart cities can be built using LoRaWAN, potential of this disruptive technology in India and many more.

It was a houseful! More than 500+ attendees have joined the conference.

Along with delivering insightful talks, the experts interacted with tech-enthusiasts one-on-one and gave a whole new perspective on the potential and applications of LoRaWAN. These experts also bagged several insights from fellow speakers.

Open and Exclusive Workshops: Deep Diving into LoRaWAN™and IoT

Tech-enthusiasts in ACTION at the ‘Threat Modeling a practical LoRaWAN deployment’ workshop conducted by CyberEye.

40+ workshops to enhance the knowledge on IoT and LoRaWAN technologies!

The Open Workshops were always fully packed with tech-enthusiasts. These workshops covered everything in detail from setting up an own private network to designing ultra low power nodes and beyond. Everyone went full hands-on with the fundamentals of LoRaWAN technology.

Techies going full ON at the exclusive workshops — deep-dive sessions on advanced concepts in IoT and LoRaWAN.

During the ‘Exclusive Workshops’, the masters in the IoT & LoRaWAN fields taught the advanced concepts themselves. Both the Open and Exclusive workshops helped the attendees level-up their skills and also provided them with a wonderful opportunity to get up-close and personal with the experts.

All the esteemed speakers have come together onto the Center Stage, addressed all the queries posed by every enthusiast and gave a clear picture on how IoT powered LoRaWAN applications could achieve wonders in this smart era.

Wall-of-Fame and Exhibits: Tech Wonders at One Place!

So much innovation under one roof! Techies exploring the latest innovations at the Wall of Fame.

Various LoRa and IoT enabled innovations from across the world that drive us to the smart tomorrow were displayed on the Wall-of-Fame. There was excitement and enthusiasm in the attendees to learn about the brand new innovative products. This has become a favourite selfie spot!

The Exhibits spaces too were very interactive. Governments, MNCs and Startups explained about their exhibits and their roles in building a smart future. The attendees were left inspired after listening to the support provided by governments and the way early players are creating ripples in the Smart Space.
